Canon Launches Two New Printers for Small Businesses : i-SENSYS MF8050Cn and i-SENSYS MF8350Cdn
Canon has targetted the business this time around and has launched two new colour laser printers; i-SENSYS MF8050Cn and i-SENSYS MF8350Cdn. The manufacturer states that both the printers offer efficiency, multi-functionality and the best cost to suit the needs of all businesses.
Both printers are multi-functional printers with the ability to print, scan, copy and fax; all from one single box. These printers carry a small footprint, making it ideal to sit in a small corner of offices. Canon has reiterated their commitment towards the environment by making these two devices energy efficient and including the Canon printer cartridges into their Toner Cartridge Recycle Program, which is completing twenty years in 2010.
The MF8050cn is the lower model of the two printers. Print speed is not too exciting at 12 pages per minute for black and 8 pages per minute for colour. The fifty sheet automatic document feeder also helps in improving efficiency and contributing to the existing print speeds. Print resolution is standard for a colour laser printer at 2400 X 600 dpi. The printer's functionality can be modified through a 5 line colour LCD screen. It is network ready by default. And, documents can be scanned directly over the network and through memory card readers.
The MF8350Cdn is the better of the two with print speeds peaking at 20 pages per minute for both monochrome and colour. Print quality is similar to that of MF8050cn at 2400 X 600 dpi. The fax module leverages on Super G3 fax modem. It is capable of storing 512 pages if the machine runs out of toner or paper.
