PIXMA MG6150 Printer takes Canon to the top
Canon has released six brand new all-in-ones, and also a fresh naming convention, and it is the Pixma MG6150 which is definitely the one to look at. Positioned just underneath the present MP990, it makes use of the best pieces of that superb unit and drags them into 2010.

Where Canons often show a weakness is in their scanners, and the MG6150 is no different. We lined up its scans side-by-side with those of the MP990 and could discern no progression - both of those were well-defined and also detailed, though with somewhat muted colours. Just for occasional jobs it is nevertheless solidly inside the upper echelons.
The other enhancements are the exact same as throughout the Pixma collection, so the MG6150 contains the Full HD Movie Print feature found on the single-function iP4850, along with unique access to content in Canon's Creative Park Premium (provided you make use of a full set of real Canon Pixma MG6150 ink cartridges). It's the new high-end photo all-in-one to beat.
