How to Clean Color Laser Printer

Cleaning your printer can be a sensible thing you can do. It is able to a great different performance and durability to the printer.
For cleaning your color laser printer, you can make a regular schedule so that it can increase the printing quality for each of your document. The cost of color laser printer is more pricey than the than the ink-jet printer. Therefore, it will be more beneficial for you to clean it. The most common parts to clean are the role and the glass. You can see more detail steps for cleaning your color laser printer below.
Clean the excess of the toner spills
The first thing you have to is indeed to turn of your printer and unplug it. It is for ensuring your safety from being accidentally electrocuted. Then, remove each of the toner cartridges out of the printer. For cleaning it, you need disposable paper towels.
Wipe up all excess toner spills around the rollers. The buildup of the excess toner in the printer can possibly travel and then clog the other areas of the printer with the dust. This bad condition will significantly affect your printing quality. After you have already wiped all the spills, relocate the toner cartridge to its position. After you have successfully put the toner cartridge back to the printer, you can now plug your printer in.
Clean the printer rollers
For cleaning the printer rollers, you can use pretreated cleaning printing sheets. This tool is available in most of the office supply stores. These sheets are able to clutch the excess grime and dirt through the roller. You only need to place the sheets on the tray of top printer and run to as if you want to make a copy. Instead, you can use disposable paper towels to wipe each roller with the unplugged printer.
Clean the glass
For cleaning the glass, you can use eyeglass cleaning wipes or the printer glass cleaning fluid with a soft cotton cloth. They are made for cleaning up the printing machine glass. The last thing you should do is to clean the outside of the printer. You can use dry and clean cotton cloth which is made of natural fibers. Clean it from the top to the bottom.
