Plastic Card Printer- Beaded Lanyard: Adding Style To Your Id
Plastic cards have waded its way into many sectors and replaced the papers. Plastic cards have taken the place of paper money, identification cards and membership cards. In this printing process, heat is used to transfer dye to a medium such as plastic or canvas. This printing technology is well suited for high quality color applications. Color and monochrome printers are also available. Monochrome produces one color image usually black. Monochrome printer can also produce various tones or shades of that color usually in grey; where as a color plastic card printer prints multiple color images. This is mainly done in case if photographs are to be placed on the card. Monochrome printers are best suited in case of government identification cards. Some card printers also use a technology called thermography in order to get the raised effect on the cards. This is usually witnessed in ATM cards and membership cards. The card printers using UV technology gives a gloss finish to the plastic cards, which makes them neat. A lot of companies are there in the market of plastic card printing.
