The HP Photosmart C5580 printer is great for all office and commercial printing usage. With a pricing, which is reasonable (between 90 and 151 USD), this printer has all the features you would expect from a multifunctional printer.
Affordable and good quality
One of the good things about the HP Photosmart C5580 printer is that it is reasonably priced. You can print on DVD or CD machine using this printer, which is yet another advantage in this printer. However, this option is not very feasible if you have a Mac operating system. The 10.5 version operating systems can be quite slow if you want the DVD or CD printer to start working. There are a couple of glitches with the updated drivers and the manual of instructions is a little hazy in terms of clarifications. However, once you are able to get the machine to start working, the efficiency is good. HP Photosmart C5580 printer also comes equipped with connectivity via Bluetooth. Thus, installation, especially with a Mac OS is easy. The photo finish and output is superior and with dedicated slots of 4x6 as well as 5x7, you can print small photos too. The scanner output quality is excellent and you can even print straight from the slot of the memory card. One drawback is that the fax mechanism is not available on this HP Photosmart printer.
HP Photosmart C4480 printer
The HP Photosmart C4480 printer is great for home and non-commercial print usage but when it comes to features, functionality and speed, it is less than satisfactory. The price seems to be the real consolation as this HP Photosmart printer is available at a retail price of 100 USD. The print output and quality is also good but in terms of design, it looks almost like a shoebox! The simple control panel maybe easy to operate but it lacks the intuitive features of some of the other printers within this niche. Plain text printing has a speed of 7.5 ppm and color graphics at 1.8 ppm. Sometimes, the speed can be slower than this. The textual print quality is reasonably good and photo printing is quite attractive even when printing on regular plain paper. The HP Photosmart C4480 printer uses the HP 74 as well as HP 75 printer cartridges. Each black cartridge costs around 30 USD while the colored ones cost around 35 USD. The HP 75 printer cartridges do not last more than 200 pages, making the CPP of these cartridges quite expensive at 4.2 cents CCP for black and 7.3 cents for color prints.
HP Photosmart D5460 printer
The HP Photosmart D5460 printer may not have the easiest methods for printing photos especially since you need to use an image editor to do so, but it compensates for this with beautiful photo finishes. The rate of printer ink consumption with this HP Photosmart printer is also reasonable and priced at 100 USD, thus, this is a cost effective printer to purchase. This printer is ideal for home usage and general document printing purposes although it does print high quality, lab-finish photos.
