As can be expected from an HP printer, the colors are sharp and brilliant. It also offers a wide variety of choices when it comes to connectivity; it has a media card reader and various USB ports.
There are a few downsides to the HP Photosmart C309a, however. First, it is quite heavy for all that it looks compact and streamlined. Second, it is slow to power up and it gurgles in the process. Lastly, it is quite pricey for a home printer.

If you are on the lookout for a multifunction HP printer for your home office and you are not scrimping on your budget, the HP Photosmart C6380 All-in-One may be the printer you are looking for. It has a streamlined and user-friendly design, with a good array of functions that make it good enough for use in a small office workgroup.
Printing quality is crisp and clear, whether it is text, monochrome or colored. The printing speed is also quite acceptable at 11 pages per minute for plain text and three pages per minute for colored printouts. However, as lovely as the HP Photosmart C6380 All-in-One is, you are better off with a cheaper model if you are not prepared to go through with the high cost of this particular HP printer model's usage.
