Easy Steps to Install Printer Online
A computer printer is a peripheral device that prints text or other content on paper or any transparencies. For working on a printer it should be installed on your computer system. You can insert the disc in to your computer disc drive and follow the set up procedure to install the driver in the computer.
How to install a printer without a disc?
Don’t worry if you do not have the printer disc. You can still install printer without the printer drive disc. The printer manufacturer website provides the drivers for your model of printer. From where you can download the driver and install it.
Mentioned below is the sequence of steps that can be followed for installing the printer:
STEP 1: You first need to identify which model of printer you own, which you can even determine by seeing the information visible on the printer.
STEP 2: Secondly, you need to know about the operating system running on your computer. If you don’t know which make and version of Windows operating system you are using then follow these steps: right-click on “My Computer”-> “Properties” ->”General”.
STEP 3: Find out the printer manufacturer website on Internet and search for the name of your printer and its model, or simply search for the driver for your respective printer model on any of the search engine and find any authentic location to download the driver.
STEP 4: Download the printer driver from the authentic website.
STEP 5: Follow the steps of installation and then restart your computer for allowing the hanged to take place.
STEP 6: You can choose to take a test print to find whether the printer is correctly installed or not.
