The maximum resolution for a black print is 600dpi x 600dpi and 9600dpi x 2400dpi for a color print. The printer also comes with superior scanning capabilities with an optical scan resolution of 2400 dpi x 4800dpi. The PIXMA MP620 has superior copying capabilities as well.
