Problems Using Non-Genuine Printer Ink Cartridges
Ink cartridges come in three forms, liquid, powder and wax stick. Liquid ink is found in printer inkjet cartridges. Inkjet Printers use ink heads to regulate the flow of ink onto the paper which usually dries within seconds of being exposed to air. There is also powder that is chemically created also known as toner. Toner is found in Laser cartridges used in photocopiers and laser printers. This toner is heated by the printer fuser before being applied to the page via an optical drum. The toner then cools and is adhered to the paper by the rollers on the machine. Lastly there is wax ink used mainly in Xerox printers. This type of unique laser toner is heated by the laser machine, once melted the printer places the toner on the page to form text or image.
All of the above types of ink cartridges are available to buy as genuine branded inks, or cheap ink cartridges that come as either new build or recycled (reconditioned or refilled). At internet, there are many companies which sell ink cartridges. There are savings to be made when buying compatible and remanufactured inks. There are certain store online which give you substantial discount on the purchase of cheap and very high quality ink cartridges.
Due to the rising propaganda by OEMs, peoples' opinions on non-genuine printer ink cartridges has not been good. Millions of cheap printer cartridges are sold every year. Start to buy cheap ink cartridges online from reputed online sellers and you will encounter fewer problems.
Here's some brief information about the problems that you may encounter when buying and using non-genuine printer ink cartridges if you shop elsewhere. The printer prints incorrect colours; this usually happens when the print heads clog up through misuse or simply wear out. Or when the wrong compatible ink is used in a cartridge, it can leak and pollute the other colours. The Clogging of printer Head is very common in Epson machines and usually due to using cheap poor quality inks bought from very cheap unknown sources. This is because some cheap companies out there fill the cartridges with the wrong ink. If the ink is too thick, the print heads won't clean properly. Being fast drying ink it starts to crystallize preventing ink to flow.
Other than this you may find that printer may not recognize the ink. Although it's a new full printer cartridge the printer says it's empty. This can be your printer software trying to stop you using the non-genuine ink or it can be a fault with the micro chip on the cartridge which usually bypasses the printer software to make it think it's a genuine one.
The other most common problem we all get with cheap Genuine and non genuine printer cartridges is that they are damaged or leaking. This is usually due to the mishandling of the parcels in transit. So it's always a safer option to collect your cheap printer cartridges from a reputed online company or any showroom nearby.
