How To Keep The Quality Of Your Stickers
Do you want to maintain a certain kind of quality in your sticker printing? Are your stickers quickly deteriorating or fading? It is all about the management of your options for sticker printing and the efficient implementation of them.
1. Look for highly durable paper options for stickers – When you start printing your stickers, you have to be aware that there is more than just one kind of sticker paper. In fact, you have lots of paper options to choose from. There are those simple paper stocks that are thin with cheap adhesives. Also, there are those more professional sticker papers with glossy surfaces and built in adhesive guards. You should aim for the thickest paper available with moisture resistant coatings though so that the sticker can last for a long time. Just ask your sticker printer if they carry something like that.
2. Spend on inks that can last long – Also if possible try to specify to your printer that you want the inks used in sticker printing to be high quality. This means using slightly more expensive inks that last long. Usually there are the ones that are absorbed by the paper easily and does not fade in the face of water and other physical effects. Choosing inks like that makes the sticker designs stick to the paper longer, keeping the quality of the sticker great for a good amount of time.
3. Determine our adhesive options – Now, for your stickers to operate properly, they must also have high quality adhesive options. Some sticker printers carry cheap sticker adhesives while others use more expensive but better ones. Try to determine what the best adhesives are for your paper type and then use the ones with the best fit. 4. Using proper dimensions for sticker durability – Also, there is the matter of sticker dimensions. For example very thin stickers with long lengths and short heights are usually prone along its corners. This is because sometimes the adhesives are not as effective in the corners while naturally the corners are the most prone to physical damage. That is why try to print things as symmetrical as you can, using squares and circles as much as possible.
5. Look for quality sticker printers – Finally, quality sticker printing is usually about the sticker printer as well So make sure you research about printing companies and see what are the best ones that provide sticker printing services. You can judge them by looking at customer reviews and testimonials as well as their apparent page rank in a search engine.
