Consider Solid Ink as a Printing Alternative
Do you know what kind of pigment the printer at your office or your business uses? There are a few different options when it comes to printer pigment, stick or solid ink being one of them, toner powder being another, and then, of course, there is liquid pigment that almost everyone is familiar with as it is the most commonly used pigment in the homes and offices of America. There are advantages to all three of these options depending on how you look at them. Depending on how you plan on printing and what you will need them to do, any one of the three can be the one for you.
Some of the advantages of choosing solid ink instead of the other options include the following: the printers formatted to use this material are less expensive than Laserjets and other printers; the speed at which they print material; and, the safety of using these materials when compared to the toxicity of other pigments used in printing these day.
Expense—To put it simply, the stick printers are less expensive than the other options on the market because they are less complex. Because they are less complex than other printers, this means that their design can be that much smaller and more compact than other printers are. This means that you can save space in your small home office by using one of these models.
Speed-Although they take a few minutes to warm up, once they get going, you do not have to wait for the pages to be printed and processed like you do on a laser printer. Some of the best models can actually print around twenty five or thirty pages in just one minute.
Safety-This kind of pigment is incredibly efficient at what it does. While other cartridges can have lots of harmful and toxic residue left inside once the printer claims it is empty, stick printers have almost no waste when they are considered empty. This means that over years and years, you will have a tiny fraction of the amount of waste than you would when compared with the laser and liquid printers.
